forensic engineering

Forensic Engineering is the process of investigating distress or failure of a structure, that includes (but is not limited to) the evaluation of problems caused by distresses that are a direct result of factors that include moisture intrusion, inadequate material thicknesses or poor material preparation/performance. Forensic investigation strives to diagnose causes of the damage, distress or failure and to develop a plan for repairs.
